Pilot: Lynsay Crellin

23 year old Lynsay Crellin, from Portsmouth, made the brave shift from co pilot to pilot towards the end of last season with her many years experience on the water.  Holding her own amongst a sport dominated by male competitors Lynsay has successfully completed several seasons as co-pilot, winning 1st place at Torquay and Best Female performance in the 2005 National Championship.

At the World Speed Records on Lake Consiton, Lynsay was the co-pilot of choice, ably assisting Jason Wyatt in securing records in excess of 65mph. She now holds the 2006 record for Lady of the Lake. Lynsay then took part in the 2007 World Championships held in Scarborough.

Lynsay has no shortage of mentors in the sport, her own father, having also raced Thundercats, can be seen on the beach offering his guidance and support.

Lynsays high energy personality is ideally suited to the extreme adrenalin sport of Thundercat Racing. Her energy and enthusiasm have also seen her enjoy a successful career in entertainment and television presenting, with roles in MTV programmes, adverts and music videos. “Mission Implausible” saw her carrying out death defying stunts in a battle of the sexes Sky TV show. Whist racing in Germany, a rare accident on the water resulted in Lynsay fracturing her back but this hasn’t deterred this girl of action. This podium bound blonde ensures she has plenty of fun and gets the job done!
