| Latest News: 29 May 2010 Torquay - Team Selftrade made an early start to the morning and arrived in Torquay for Round 3 of the 2010 Thundercat Championship. After ending the last round on a high the team were looking forward to a good race. The weather was really miserable and the sea was not looking inviting for the 60 mile endurance race that lay ahead. We were unsure if the race was going to go ahead with sea conditions and the on/off poor visibility threatening the race but fortunately the race went ahead albeit slWe were unsure if the race was going to go ahead with sea conditions and the on/off poor visibility threatening the race but fortunately the race went ahead albeit slightly delayed! 16 May 2010 Round 2 of the Championship dawned and after some hard work by both Team Selftrade & Team ZigZag to fix the engine problems over night, we were ready for the days racing. For ZigZag in the standard class things were alot better than the prvious day - with consistant results Etienne Burnett and Will Driscoll managent to clinch 2nd overall for the day. Things for Team Selftrade were not as good, still a few niggly problems a but we eventually got these fixed. Qualifying last for the finals things couldnt have been any worse BUT with the engine finally dialed in James Sinclair and Murray MacGregor took the final win of the day firing a warning shot to the rest of the fleet that they are going to be one of the top teams to contend with this season! 15 May 2010 Team Ceasar were in Bournemouth for the first round on the 2010 RYA National Thundercat Championship. Fortunately we have been able to enter a team in each class this season. Both teams seemed to struggle with some 'niggly' engine problems today but persisted to work to achive the maximum amount of points possible. ![]() |
